I went to SM Manila this afternoon intending to watch Martin Scorsese’s KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON. I just assumed SM Manila had it in one of their 10 cinemas. Of course SM Cinema managers knew better than I did.

They went for a Halloween themed fest Sine Sindak Oct 25-31, 2023. Which was a huge hit. There were so many young people lining up in the box office. Mixture of Korean and U.S. Horror movies: CHABAK NIGHT OF MURDER AND ROMANCE, DAWNING, BELZEBUTH, JACK IN THE BOX2, FINAL SUMMER and more.

I wanted to be upset but seeing a lot of young people going to watch movies made me so happy. THAT and of course the Taylor Swift concert, another monster blockbuster. Seeing the trailer, IF I was a Swifty, I’d be happier just going to the cinema as opposed to watching her live.
First of all, I didn’t spend thousands of dollars for the tickets. OR tens of thousands of pesos. AND I didn’t have to wait up online or wait for hours JUST to get the tickets. I didn’t have to go through hours of traffic just to get to the concert venue. AND I didn’t have to fly abroad.

I just went to my neighborhood SM, Robinsons, Ayala Mall to watch it.
The camera work and audio was topnotch in TAYLOR SWIFT ERAS TOUR.
All from the comfort of a cinema seat. YES they do encourage you to stand up, dance and sing your heart out too. Just like the real concert.
This Alden Richards hit is not part of the fest but is currently showing in cinemas.
EVEN IF I can’t relate to her music I am SO grateful Taylor Swift is helping support our local cinemas this way.
I’m super grateful she’s an outspoken Biden supporter.
